WW2 British RAF Aircrew Mae West / Dinghy Survival KnifeBy Joseph Rodgers & Sons of Sheffield, 'Cutlers to His Majesty'. Stores reference 27C/2125 (knife), 27C/4486052 (scabbard). Special knife issued to Fleet Air Arm aircrew for use on their 1941 pattern Mae Wests. It has an orange painted wooden handle and stainless steel curved blunt-tipped blade with holes along its length. The knife would originally have had a second smaller pointed knife mounted within a groove in the handle but this is absent. Well marked. Very good to excellent used condition.
