Used for boot and shoemaking to help in lasting the waist area.
Thicker leathers will usually require greater strength to obtain correct tension. This tool is designed to gather even tension on both sides and help lasting adequately.
The mechanism is unwound to grab the upper and then cranked to bring in tension.
