WW2 British Plasfort Home Front Helmet
A very nice original wartime Bakelite protective helmet. in the standard Brodie style. These were sold privately and were for use when dealing with electricity or munitionsThis one was made by Plasfort. The shell is in great order with no cracks or damageThe liner is good soft and supple but does show age related cracks and wear to the oil cloth. All is good and strong. the liner is not dated or marked.The original leather chinstrap is in place and good. A nice wartime helmet in great condition.
