NELSON'S COLUMN TRAFALGAR PLAQUE, MARBLE, REPLICALarge reproduction plaque of Admiral Lord Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar. It depicts the wounded Nelson amidst the fierce fighting on the deck of his ship, the HMS Victory. At the bottom of the plaque is written ENGLAND EXPECTS EVERY MAN WILL DO HIS DUTY. Inset in the back of the plaque is a tribute to those whose fought at Trafalgar. It is a replica of one of the four large bronze tablets that are inset in to the base of Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square, London. The sides are 35 cm x 35 cm, the sculptures are up to 4 cm wide. The weight is ca. 4,2 kg
