British Lee-Metford bayonet, no scabbard.Lee-Metford rifle. This was fitted to a .303 calibre bolt-action rifle that was produced from 1884 until 1896 when it was replaced by the Lee-Enfield rifle no1.Cannot quite make out stamping to edge of blade.
