WW2 German K98 Bayonet With Matched Numbers & Frog
Superb blade with virtually all of its original blued finish remaining, thinness to the blueing close to the tip, numbered ‘9165’, bakelite grips. Double waffen amt stamp to the upper pommel area with the rifle retaining button working correctly.
Marked 41 asw on the ricasso and scabbard for the year and maker, E & F Horster
The scabbard which is number matched has been untouched with the blueing missing from the bottom.
Great condition frog is fitted, maker coded but unreadable and dated 1938. All stitching is intact.
