Hitler Youth (HJ) knife Motto: Arthur Schuttelhofer

Description

This example bears the motto of the Hitler Youth, “Blut und Ehre!” (Blood and Honor), etched on the blade. The HJ Swaz motif does not move when tapped, the original leather buffer remains and the anodized metal scabbard with latch is in very good condition.
There has been a repair to the grip so they do not match and likely hence why the insignia does not move but it is believed to be a period done repair. Typically this RZM code does not bear the motto. However, this piece is 100%
correct, so I can only assume it was produced sometime in 1938 before
the motto was discontinued.
