Description

Early Army Dagger by Alcoso (Alexander Coppel)
A Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by Alcoso of Solingen. The blade on this one looks good. The early acid etched “Alcoso ACS Solingen” maker mark is nicely executed!
The tip comes to a perfect point. Most crossgrain remains visible. If you look hard enough there are a couple dots of age. The blade rates NM. The large brown leather buffer pad remains intact.
The Alcoso steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! Both original throat retaining screws remains intact. The zinc-alloy based, silver plated Alcoso eagle crossguard is minty with no finish loss.
The early Alcoso pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns that are easily visible through the black burnishing perfectly matching the hilt in finish and patina. The two tone orange, trylon grip on this one looks great.
