WWII German POLICE “1942” LAPEL PIN
In December of 1943 the NSDAP (Nationalsozialistiche Deutsche Arbeiterpartei) National Socialist German Workers Party held the first Day of the German Police. This event was intended to to be an annual public relations propaganda exercise to promote goodwill between the public and the police. In an effort to raise funds and commemorate these events numerous donation "gifts" were created and distributed to the public. This German police 1942 Lapel pin marked 'H9' is one of those "gifts"
