WW2 German Mauser 1934Deactivated Mauser 1934 7.65mm Pistol in very good deactivated condition. The Mauser 1934 Pistol was introduced in 1934 and was in production until the end of the war. Like all Mauser products of the time the quality was excellent and they were built to last. They served throughout WWII with the Nazis, mainly used by the Kriegsmarine, though some were issued to the army and air force as well.The serial number 528887 dates to around mid to late 1930s and is from the final years of production of this model. Production finished in 1941. Marked on the slide D.R.U.u.A.P.- Deutsches Reichspatent und Auslandspatentelt. Referred to as "Commercial" finished pistols they were privately purchased by German officers and used throughout WWII. The model 1934 has featured in many classic movies including 'The Guns Of Navarone' in the hands of Gregory Peck and in the 'Great Escape'. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
