A Percussion Box Lock Pistol by Thompson.
6” overall, 1 ½” octagonal 120 bore barrel with Birmingham Proofs 1813-1855, border and finely scroll engraved action signed ‘S Thompson’ and ‘Darlington’.
Teardrop walnut wooden butt with oval silver butt inlay.

Circa 1830-40.

Very fine small pistol in very good condition, cocks and dry fires.
