Civil Defence Corps volunteer home front lapel badge 1949 to 1968
An original post 1953 gilt and enamel badge, Queen Elizabeth Crowned circlet 'Civil Defence Corps' on blue enamel ground, enclosing the 'Royal Lion of England' central device, the reverse with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt London". Very good condition, original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
