WW2 German Kit Locker

Vintage Industrial Wooden Wardrobe/Locker, Original Paint, 1930/40's (German?)
Rescued from a garage in Belgium along with 2 others.
Lightly cleaned and treated worm killer.
Original paint with some overpaint and evidence of attempts to strip.
Insides altered to shelving.
Stamped BN1949 on the back
May be a German barrack locker that has been repurposed after the war?
